I went to Ozzfest at Shoreline on Saturday. Lots of 'aggressive music', as the lead singer of the band Hatebreed described their stuff. System of a Down and Disturbed played the main stage, and we got there just in time to see Ozzy perform a few songs on the side stage. I wonder which bands are the ones that benefit the most directly from being on the same bill as Ozzy-- the ones that play before him on the side stage, or the ones that play between him and System/Disturbed on the main stage. People waited all day to see Ozzy, so they might discover the up-and-comers. Then again, the bands between the two headliners might benefit in the same way as well.
